Financial Aid Information
There are a number of different options to help fund your graduate studies with the IU School of Social Work. These include Federal Student Loans, scholarships, and employer assistance. We encourage students to consider all resources to help make their education as affordable as possible. An important step in the financial aid process is completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). The FAFSA can be completed online at www.fafsa.ed.gov. When completing the FAFSA, enter federal school code 001813 (Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis) when prompted. The FAFSA may be completed at any time during the year. However, students should submit the application prior to the start of their first term and by March 10 of each year for maximum aid consideration.
Students who have completed their FAFSA and been admitted to the IU School of Social Work will receive financial aid information via university email and the University’s One.IU portal. Students should monitor their account to ensure completion of all required financial aid steps. Visit the website of the Office of Student Financial Services at www.iupui.edu/finaid/ for more information. If you need assistance in completing the FAFSA or for general financial aid questions, please contact the MSW Direct financial aid representative.Office of Student Financial Aid Services
